Our safety promise

EduManual is built to be a safe digital space. Our core design decisions are: no public chat, no private messaging, no public child profiles, no public photographs of children, no location sharing, and no third-party advertising.

Children cannot communicate

Children never have their own accounts, usernames or profiles. They learn through child profiles created privately by their parent/teacher. There is no way for a child to send or receive messages from anyone, including strangers.

Moderated comments

Where article comments are enabled, only verified parent/teacher accounts may comment, every comment is held for moderation before it appears, profanity is filtered automatically, and every moderation action is logged.

Content moderation

All educational content, videos, images and worksheets are reviewed by our team before publication. Videos are chosen from approved educational sources with captions where possible.

Videos

Embedded videos come from approved providers (for example YouTube or Vimeo) using privacy-enhanced embeds where available. Parents can preview every video page.

What parents can do

We encourage parents to: create and manage the child profile themselves, review progress together, enable accessibility preferences, and keep an eye on screen time. Our parent dashboard shows everything the child has done.

If you see anything that concerns you, contact us immediately at admin@edumanual.com — we review safety reports within one working day.
